Professional or at least semi-professional photographs are worth investing in. What's a lifetime of memories without the photos to document the best shape you'll ever be in in your life. Of course, your growing family too.
Let's get down to the nitty gritty: What should I wear? I like to use the same philosophy in photographs as weddings: something old, new, borrowed and blue. I say that because there's nothing that says we just bought these clothes for these pics than a perfectly matchy ensemble. I believe it's neat to incorporate something you already have with a new skirt, blouse, whatever. You will feel more at ease in something you already know how you look in. Blue because it looks so great in pics: baby blue, royal blue and navy. Plus, it adds a little manliness to the pics. Please don't make your hubby wear pink in photographs. (I dig pink sometimes, but this is a lifetime photograph.)
I'm really into coordination without obvious coordination. Such as: you wear ivory and he chooses his color scheme. One should be the neutral canvas(navy, nude, white or black)
Here's an example of a shoot I did recently. We both got to show off our personal style in a coordinating way without looking like we had on our photograph uniforms on. As if it was just a random day in the park and we always look like this. PS: the tulle skirt is from our site.
Here are a few items from our site I would recommend for pics.
